Namchi, 18 June: Khelo India Rising Talent Identification (KIRTI) is India’s first-ever sports talent identification programme for school children( class 4 to class 12). The KIRTI programme was launched in Chandigarh on 12th March 2024 by the Hon’ble Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports.
The KIRTI programme has been launched by the Government of India to further promote sports integration approach in the school.
It is with this objective, that the Sports Training Centre, Sports Authority of India, Namchi will be organizing the KIRTI drive across two disciplines viz. Boxing and Football from 22nd June to 24th June 2024 at Namchi Public School Ground.

KIRTI Operational Guideline:
1. There will be 10 General Physical Fitness Tests and Discipline-specific tests. All tests will be conducted under the supervision of coaches and physical education teachers.
2. Athletes will come in tracksuit/ sports attire suitable for them. They will be accompanied by physical education teachers.
