Youth of Namchi Participate in Virtual Interaction with PM under Viksit Vibrant Village Programme

Namchi, July 26 (IPR): A virtual interaction programme connecting youth participants from across the country under the Viksit Vibrant Village Programme was held today at the office of the District Collector, Namchi. The programme featured an interaction with the Prime Minister, Mr Narendra Modi, highlighting the role of youth in nation-building and the development of border villages under the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.
The Viksit Vibrant Village Programme is a joint youth-led initiative of the MY Bharat platform and the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. The programme enables young citizens to live and volunteer in remote border villages to promote national integration, cultural exchange, and grassroots development. Participants are selected through an online National Quiz followed by fitness and eligibility assessments to identify top representatives from across the country.
The event was organised by MY Bharat Kendra, Namchi, under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India. Around 20 youth volunteers from MY Bharat Kendra, Namchi, participated in the virtual interaction.
During the programme, youth participants of the Viksit Vibrant Village Programme from various parts of the country interacted with the Prime Minister. The interaction focused on empowering young people, encouraging their active participation in the development of Vibrant Villages, and fostering inclusive growth in remote and border regions as part of the Viksit Bharat 2047 vision.
The interaction provided an opportunity for the participating youth to gain insights into national development initiatives while reaffirming their commitment to community service, volunteerism, and nation-building.
The programme was attended by Model Officer, MY Bharat Namchi, Mr B S Malik, along with teachers and youth participants of the Viksit Vibrant Village Programme.
