Training Programme for Census 2027 reaches Chungthang Subdivision
Mangan, April 2 (IPR): On the third day of the training programme for Census 2027, enumerators and supervisors of Chungthang Subdivision were imparted training on various aspects of house listing and housing census. Participants were equipped with the necessary skills and guidelines for accurate and efficient data collection.
The training programme was held in the presence of Charge officer, SDM Chungthang, Mr Arun Chettri, along with Additional charge officers - ACF Forest, Mr Norden Zangpo and BDO Chungthang Mr Jona Targain.
The training was imparted by DCSO Mangan cum District Census Officer Mr Palden Lachungpa and BDO Mangan Mr Kailash Thapa, along with official from the Census office.
The Census, being a crucial national exercise, plays a vital role in policy planning, resource allocation, and governance. Emphasis is being laid on ensuring that all field functionaries are well-trained and prepared to carry out their responsibilities in accordance with prescribed standards.
