The two-day District Level Exhibition-cum-Sale organized by the District Industries Centre, Namchi
Namchi, 30 November (IPR): The two-day District Level Exhibition-cum-Sale organized by the District Industries Centre, Namchi under the Commerce & Industries Department, Government of Sikkim, successfully concluded at Central Park, Namchi, today.
The two- day Exhibition-cum-Sale was held under the aegis of the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MoMSME)’s Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) scheme, with an aim to enhancing awareness, facilitating exhibitions, and providing platform and support local entrepreneurial talents.
This exhibition had a total of 30 stalls and saw participation from 60 local entrepreneurs, each showcasing a diverse range of products. This include handicrafts, packaging foods, local plants, arts, set up by local entreprenuers, SHGs, etc.
It also included an open-mic session, offering a creative platform for the public to share their talents and garner attention.
Additionally, the exhibition helped entrepreneurs to generate revenue, identify innovative products, and access further support in packaging, product development, and hand-holding assistance to enhance their market readiness and sales
The event was attended by OSD to MLA Poklok Kamrang Mr Phurden Lepcha, Director MSME Mr Ravi Kumar alongwith with Inspectors and staff of the DIC Namchi and larger visitor.
It maybe mentioned here that the Exhibition-cum-Sale which commenced and ended today will be organised in other districts as well to provide a dedicated platform to local entrepreneurs across the state.
