The first review meeting to discuss the progress of district formation of Gyalshing and Soreng

Gyalshing, 27th January 2022 (IPR): The first review meeting to discuss the progress of district formation of Gyalshing and Soreng was held at the Conference Hall of District Administrative Centre, Rabdentse today.
The meeting was chaired by the District Collector Gyalshing/West, Shri Karma R. Bonpo who also holds the additional charge of newly created Soreng district. The meeting was also attended by ADC Gyalshing, Shri Agawane Rohan Ramesh alongwith HoDs' of Gyalshing and Soreng districts.
Addressing the house, Shri Bonpo briefed about the district reorganization notification issued by the State government. He then discussed in detail the basic requirements to set up the offices which is need of the hour. He further asked the concerned to submit the list of requirements and anticipated vacancies at the earliest. He stated that man power planning should be notified by head of departments to fulfill the anticipated vacancies. He suggested to use man power from OFOJ to reduce the shortages of man power.
Furthermore, he urged for a clear separation of departments within the stipulated time, therefore whoever posted at Soreng should thoughtlessly take charge of the district, he added. He further asked for the coordination from all the line departments for the better administrative control.
To conclude, he suggested to visit once at temporary allocation offices to concerned departments.
It may be mentioned here that the various progressive infrastructure pertaining to temporary establishment of Soreng District Administrative Centre and its allied offices are,
1. Yatri Niwas.
2. Base Camp Timburbong.
3. Lower Housing Colony.
4. Food Godown.
5. Cafeteria of Bheer Dara.
6. Sub-Divisional Administrative Centre.
7. Ethnic huts and
8. RTFC
