Team led by SDM Kabi conducts assessment of areas affected by torrential rainfall
Kabi, Sept 17th: A team led by SDM, Kabi Sub- Division, Ms. Monika Rai, SCS, along with Revenue Officer, LR&DMD (Kabi Sub-Division), Shri Rinzing Bhutia, Head Surveyor(LRD&D) and Disaster Management Assistants (DMAs) conducted an assessment of areas affected by torrential rainfall on 16/09/26 under Kabi Sub-Division.
The team visited areas affected by slides, formation breaches and house damage incurred by torrential rainfall under Phensong, Men-Rongong, Rongong- Tumlong and Ramthang- Tanek GPUs.
The team also provided tarpaulin sheets to affected households to avoid further damage and breaches to their property.
Additionally, SDM, Kabi has assured all possible support to the affected households from the District Administration, Mangan District.
