State-level experimental exercises 2025-26 oriented program through hybrid mode in Gyalshing

Gyalshing, November 7 (IPR): A special program regarding the conduct of experimental practice in earthquake and gloff concluded at the District Administrative Office Gyalshing. Major General Sudhir Bahal, Chief Advisor to the National Disaster Management Authority, conducted the conference and provided detailed information about the experimental practice through a PowerPoint presentation. Mr. Bahl explained a brief description of outbreaks and the necessary response regarding the incident response system (IRS), preparation functions for experimental practice etc. Clarified the role of District Collector and Nodal Officers by explaining the importance of IRS. Officers were actively instructed to conclude the practice by saying the activist should be managed properly in an experimental practice. With the expectation of active participation of all concerns in the practice scheduled for the upcoming November 17, emphasized the need for the practice to be conducted at about 50 venues from across the state was emphasized. He said that relief camp should also be arranged along with all basic facilities in practice. Later, Mr. Rinjing Chewang Bhutia, Secretary and Relief Commissioner of the Land Revenue and Disaster Management Department, said the state would actively participate in experimental practice by consenting Mr. Bahal.
After the presentation, the Additional Collector of Gazing District Mr. Suresh Rai directed the District Project Officer, Mr. Ganeshkumar Rai to inspect the venue for experimental practice.
The program was present by officers from various departments, including Additional Superintendent of Police Sonam Wangdi, Assistant Forest Pradeep Subba, Chief Education Officer Pema G Bhutia, and Information and Public Relations Department Officer Krishna Subba.
