State Level Volleyball Championship 2025: Semi-Finals Conclude in Namchi
Namchi, October 8 (IPR): The second day of the ongoing State Level Volleyball Championship 2025 witnessed thrilling semi-final matches at the Volleyball Court near Namchi Municipal Council. The event is being held as part of the Golden Jubilee Celebration, marking 50 years of Sikkim’s Statehood.
Mr. Basant Yonzon, Chairman of the Sikkim Youth Development Board, Government of Sikkim, graced the day’s proceedings as the Chief Guest. In the Women’s category, Namchi District and Mangan District emerged victorious, securing their places in the competition final.
Meanwhile, in the Men’s category, Namchi District and Soreng District advanced to the finals after closely contested semi-final matches. The final matches of both categories are scheduled to be held on October 9, which will mark the concluding day of the tournament.
Officials from the Department of Sports & Youth Affairs, along with students, teachers, and local supporters, were present to witness the matches and cheer for their respective teams.
