Special Gram Sabha held in two GPUs with special focus on Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan
Mangan, Oct 9 (IPR): A special Gram Sabha was held at Toong Naga GPU and Mangshila Tibuk GPU in Mangan District today with special focus on the Aadi Karmayogi Abhinay in presence of Panchayat members, DCSO Mangan cum DMT Mr Palden N Lachungpa, BMTs, VMTs and the general public.
It is to mention that Singchit village from Toong Naga GPU and Upper Mangshila and Lower Mangshila from Mangshila Tibuk GPUs have been selected and covered on 09.10.2025 under the Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan out of a total of 30 selected villages under Mangan District.
The DCSO cum District Master trainer Mr Palden N Lachungpa gave a detailed presentation on the Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan followed by transect walk and PRA exercise.
Further, the team co-created the Village Action Plan and Village Vision 2030 for each village under the above two GPUs with active participation from the public and the Panchayats of the GPUs.
Aadi Karmayogis consisting of trained Government officers along with Aadi Sahayogis and Aadi Sathis led by DCSO cum District Master Trainer Mr Palden N Lachungpa facilitated the whole exercise.
Further the plan were discussed, finalised and approved in the special Gram Sabha to be held on 9th October 2025.
The Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan is a transformative initiative under Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India, to strengthen grassroots governance in tribal areas through last-mile connectivity, participatory planning, and citizen empowerment.
As part of the training, the Village-Level Functionaries and Frontline Workers are oriented with skills to plan, implement, and monitor developmental activities. The training is being conducted by Block Master Trainers with support from District Master Trainers.
