Soreng District observes the Martyrs' Day
Soreng, 30 January (IPR):
Martyrs' Day, also known as "Shaheed Diwas", is observed in India on January 30th to honor the sacrifices of those who laid down their lives for the nation's freedom.
Similarly, as a mark of respect, the Soreng District Administration and the Soreng District Police Department observed a two-minute silence across the district from 11:00 AM to 11:02 AM, during which all works and movements, including traffic movement were halted.
