Soreng, June 24 (IPR): Soreng District crossed the 99.25% digitization of Enumeration Forms under the Special Revision 2026, as of today. The District Election Officer, Soreng, informed that out of the total Enumeration Forms distributed across the four Assembly Constituencies of the district, 61,812 forms have been digitized so far.
The constituency-wise distribution of Enumeration Forms is as follows:
AC 05- RINCHENPONG: 16,468 (100%)
AC 06- DARAMDIN: 16,683 (100%)
AC 07- SORENG CHAKHUNG: 16,765 (98.06%)
AC 08- SALGHARI-ZOOM: 11,905 (98.90%)
Overall progress – 61,812 (99.25%)
According to DEO Soreng, 4,038 enumeration forms remain uncollectable in the districts so far. He also stated that the figure is expected to rise as the work progresses.
The distribution and collection of Enumeration Forms will continue till June 28, 2026. Electors who have received their forms have been requested to duly fill and submit them to their respective Booth Level Officers within the prescribed timeline to facilitate the preparation of an accurate and updated Draft Electoral Roll.
The District Election Officer, Soreng District, has appealed to the public of Soreng District to fill the SIR Enumeration Forms with the help of their respective BLOs, contact their respective BLOs or visit the offices of the Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) or Assistant Electoral Registration Officer (AERO), use the Voter Helpline App, or call Helpline Number 1950.
