Soreng, June 19 (IPR): Soreng District has made significant progress under the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) 2026, achieving 76.28% digitisation of Enumeration Forms as of date. The District Election Officer, Soreng, informed that out of the total Enumeration Forms distributed across the four Assembly Constituencies of the district, 46,593 forms have been digitised so far.
The constituency-wise distribution of Enumeration Forms is as follows:
AC 05- RINCHENPONG: 13,396 (81.35%)
AC 06- DARAMDIN: 13,374 (80.17%)
AC 07- SORENG CHAKHUNG: 11,609 (61.94%)
AC 08- SALGHARI-ZOOM: 9,126 (75.81%)
Overall progress - 47,505 (76.28%)
The distribution and collection of Enumeration Forms will continue till June 28, 2026. Electors who have received their forms have been requested to duly fill and submit them to their respective Booth Level Officers within the prescribed timeline to facilitate the preparation of an accurate and updated Draft Electoral Roll.
The District Election Officer, Soreng District, informed that for the ease of the public, the BLOs of Soreng District will be available in their respective polling stations on 20th June (tomorrow/Saturday) & 21st June 2026 (Sunday) to facilitate the collection of forms and also for people facing difficulties in filling the SIR forms.
