Sikkim International Film Festival 2026
Gangtok, March 18 (IPR): Diginitaties from Bhutan have arrived in Sikkim to participate in Sikkim International Film Festival 2026 here in Gangtok.
The Sikkim International Film Festival (SIFF) 2026 is set to take place from March 19 to March 22, 2026 in the capital city of Gangtok. This is the first time that the state is hosting an international film festival and it sets a be a milestone for the state attracting film makers from Bhutan and Nepal. The festival is also set to include local film makers from Mumbai, Kerala, Assam, Kolkata and Delhi.
The diginitaries from Bhutan included Chief Program Officer, Mrs Kiba Lhaden, Assistant Program Officer Ms Sujan Gurung, Assistant Information and Media Officer Ms Galey Yonzon, Actress Ms Kinley Eudruma and, Producer and Distributor Ms Tshering Dolkar.
Upon their arrival, the diginitaries were accorded a warm welcome by PI Rural Development Department Government of Sikkim (GoS), Ms Nima Choden Bhutia and Commercial Tax Inspector GoS, Ms Karma TY Bhutia with khadas and gift tokens.
