Sampoornata Abhiyan Samman Samaroh for Aspirational Block Programme under Gyalshing District

A Sampoornta Abhiyan Samman Samaroh under the Aspirational Block Programme of NITI AAYOG to honor the Front-Line Workers of the Chongrang Block was organized at Conference Hall of Gyalshing District Zilla Panchayat Bhawan, Kyongsa,today.
Chairperson Sikkim Consumer Cooperative Society(SCCS), Government of Sikkim Ms Shanti Limboo was the Chief Guest and was accompanied by ADC Gyalshing Mr Suresh Rai, SDM HQ (Gyalshing) Mr Pulkit Balhara,SDM Gyalshing Mr Sandesh Subba,CMO District Hospital Gyalshing Dr Namgay Bhutia, BDO Gyalshing Mr Garap Dorjee Bhutia,BDO Chongrang Ms Geeta Kumari Gurung,President Gyalshing Nagar Panchayat Mr Devendra Pd Sharma, DIO IPRD Gyalshing Mr Krishna Limboo, and AD Education Mr Rajen Tamang.
ADC Gyalshing Mr Rai, during his address, congratulated the felicitation recipients and also pointed out the success achieved in Key Point Indicators of the Chongrang Block. He mentioned that, during the Sampoornata Abhiyan, six key point indicators were incorporated and of them four were saturated successfully. He even encouraged Front-Line Workers to saturate the rest of the Indicators completely within the given time frame.
ADC Gyalshing was also proud of the work of the Chongrang Block and congratulated BDO Chongrang, Block Level Officials, ANMs, ASHAs, Anganwadi workers, SHG leaders, attached officials of the Agriculture Department Gyalshing, Teachers, Panchayats and volunteers. He emphasised that the prompt and well-coordinated action of the stakeholders for the cause had a discernible effect on the lives of the people at Chongrang Block.
" The Sampoornata Abhiyan is not about numbers, but about transforming lives". " Let this recognition be a celebration of service, a symbol of hope, and an inspiration for greater achievements in the days to come", Mr Rai quoted.
SDM HQ Mr Pulkit, discussed the 'Way forward for the Aspirational Block Programme' and recommended making the maximum use of technological upgradation. He referred to the encouraging attitude of the Common Service Centre, CSC facility in the district which has been a boon for the people of Sardung GPU.
SDM HQ even stated that the primary motive of Sampoornata Abhiyan Samman Samaroh was to inspire the stakeholders and even urge them to work together for the effective implementation of policies designed by the Government of India for the welfare of the people at the grassroots level.
CSC Operator Ms Pemkit Lepcha, briefed the house about the range of vital services provided at the Common Service Centre and briefly outlined the aspirations of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, GOI, through the centre.
Aspirational Block Fellow Chongrang Mr Karma Chogyal Bhutia gave a brief overview of the Sampoornata Abhiyan Samman Samaroh and emphasized on the reason for the celebration.
The highlight of the celebration throughout the day was the felicitations to Front-Line Workers for their outstanding efforts provided in achieving saturation in the Key Point Indicators of Agriculture, Health and Nutrition.
The event was also attended by Zilla Members of Kongri-Tashiding TC Mr Biren Gurung and Arithang-Gerethang TC Mr Yadu Nath Chettri, Assistant Project Manager-cum-Block Incharge SRLM Mr Gokul Gurung, Panchayat representatives,PGT PM SHRI Government Girls SSS,Gyalshing Ms Sunita Tamang as Master of Ceremony and other esteemed dignitaries.
