SIR Exercise Continues Across Pakyong District with Extensive Door-to-Door Outreach
Pakyong, June 11 (IPR): The Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise is progressing steadily across Pakyong District, with Booth Level Officers (BLOs) continuing door-to-door visits to facilitate the distribution and collection of Enumeration Forms (EFs) and verification of elector details.
As per the latest status report, the district has distributed 72,585 Enumeration Forms out of a total electorate of 83,111, achieving an overall coverage of 87.34 per cent.
The exercise is being carried out by trained Booth Level Officers deployed across the district, who are reaching electors in both urban and remote locations. Particular emphasis is being placed on ensuring the participation of senior citizens, Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) and other vulnerable groups through home visits and personalised assistance.
The constituency-wise distribution of Enumeration Forms (EFs) is as follows:
18-West Pendam AC: 13,296
19-Rhenock AC: 15,546
20-Chujachen AC: 17,828
21-Gnathang-Machong AC: 11,305
22-Namcheybung AC: 14,610
In addition to distributing Enumeration Forms, BLOs are assisting electors in completing the forms, collecting duly filled forms and verifying voter information to ensure the accuracy of electoral rolls. Booth Level Agents (BLAs) are also extending support through voter outreach and awareness activities within their respective polling areas.
Follow-up visits are being undertaken in locations where electors could not be contacted during earlier rounds of field visits. These sustained efforts are aimed at achieving maximum coverage and ensuring that every eligible elector is included in the revision process.
The house-to-house distribution and collection of Enumeration Forms will continue till June 28, 2026.
