SIR Electoral Roll Hearings Continue for Third Day in Soreng District
Soreng, July 20 (IPR): The hearings under the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral rolls entered their third day in Soreng district today, continuing the process across all four Assembly Constituencies at the District Administrative Centre (DAC), Soreng.
The hearings are being conducted by the respective Electoral Registration Officers (EROs), Assistant Electoral Registration Officers (AEROs) and Additional Assistant Electoral Registration Officers (AEROs).
For 05-Rinchenpong Assembly Constituency, the ERO is SDM Mangalbaria Mr DN Sharma. The AERO and Additional AEROs are BDO Kaluk Mr Dabgyal Lama, BDO Mangalbaria Mr Mandeep Subba and Accounts Officer Ms Meemnam Limboo.
For 06-Daramdin Assembly Constituency, the ERO is SDM (Headquarters) Mr Prem K Subba. The AERO and Additional AEROs are BDO Daramdin Ms Anushuiya Pradhan, Assistant Labour Commissioner Mr Prakash Chandra Subba and Accounts Officer Mr Tara Prasad Sharma.
For 07-Soreng-Chakung Assembly Constituency, the ERO is SDM Soreng Ms Sakchum Lepcha. The AERO and Additional AEROs are BDO Soreng Mr Paru Hang Subba, Deputy Director (Agriculture) Mr Manish Pradhan, and Accounts Officer Mr Bubin Gurung.
For 08-Salghari-Zoom Assembly Constituency, the ERO is ADC Soreng Mr DR Bista. The AERO and Additional AEROs are BDO Baiguney Ms Pramila Gurung, Deputy Director Mr Subash Tamang, and Assistant Director (IT) Mr Amir Bhandari.
District Election Officer (DEO)-cum-DC Soreng Mr Dhiraj Subedi, is supervising the Special Intensive Revision process across the district to ensure the smooth conduct of hearings and the timely disposal of all claims, objections, and related matters.

06-Daramdin Assembly Constituency: 49
07-Soreng-Chakung Assembly Constituency: 81
08-Salghari-Zoom Assembly Constituency: 95

Grand total: 657 (July 16, 17, and 20)
The district administration has appealed to all concerned electors to attend their hearings as scheduled and extend full cooperation for the successful completion of the Special Intensive Revision of the electoral rolls.
