Report on Special Gram Sabha at Various Adi Sewa Kendras under Adi Karmyogi Abhiyan
Namchi, October 03: Namchi District conducted Special Gram Sabhas on 2nd October 2025 at various Adi Sewa Kendras under the Adi Karmyogi Abhiyan for the finalisation and approval of Village Action Plans (VAPs) of the concerned villages.
The Village Action Plans placed before the Special Gram Sabha for final approval were from the following villages:
•Boomtar Tribal Village
•Gangchung Village
•Sripatam Village
•Barfung Village
•Tingmoo Village
•Kateng Bokrang Village
The proceedings of the Gram Sabhas were attended by Block Development Officers (BDOs), officials from line departments, District Master Trainers (DMTs), Block Master Trainers (BMTs), Village Master Trainers (VMTs), Adi Karmayogis, Adi Sathis, NGOs, and members of the local public.
The Special Gram Sabhas deliberated on the proposed Village Action Plans, and after due discussion, the plans were finalised and formally approved with the collective consent of all stakeholders present.
This initiative marks a significant step towards participatory planning and responsive governance in alignment with the objectives of the Adi Karmyogi Abhiyan
