Pakyong, 18 April (IPR): Five all-women polling booths (pink booth) have been set up under Pakyong District to initiate women's empowerment. The Pink Booth is an initiative committed to gender equality and focusing on the greater constructive participation of women in the electoral process. The polling materials have been handed over to the respective teams under the supervision of Mr Tashi Chophel, DEO cum DC Pakyong; Ms Anupa Tamling, ADC Pakyong; Assistant Returning Officers (AROs) and representatives of various political parties.
Following are the pink booths set up under the district:-

3. Dugalakha JH Schoo, Room No 1
4. Water Resource Department, Pakyong
5. Pachey Sr Sec School, Room No 1
