Pakyong, June 15 (IPR): Pakyong District has crossed the 96 per cent mark in Electoral Form (EF) distribution under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise, as per the status report issued today.
Data from the district shows that 80,016 Electoral Forms have been distributed out of 83,111 electors, while all forms have been printed for distribution. A total of 18,376 forms have been digitised, accounting for 22.11 per cent of the process.
The exercise is being carried out by 109 Booth Level Officers (BLOs), of which 76 have completed training. On average, one BLO is handling 762 electors.
Among Assembly Constituencies,
20–Chujachen recorded 99.13 per cent EF distribution and 30.51 per cent digitisation,
19–Rhenock reported 96.47 per cent distribution,
18–West Pendam with 96.06 per cent,
22–Namcheybung with 95.32 per cent,
21–Gnathang–Machong with 93.43 per cent.
The report also states that 224 forms have been submitted by electors instead of through BLOs.
Officials said the SIR process will continue across constituencies with focus on distribution, digitisation and submission of forms.
