Pakyong, December 11 (IPR): The Pakyong District Zilla Panchayat convened an in-house meeting at the Conference Hall of the District Administrative Centre (DAC), Pakyong.
The meeting was chaired by Zilla Adhakshya of Pakyong District, Ms Laden Lhamu Bhutia, accompanied by Zilla Up-Adhakshya, Ms Prabha Pradhan.
The meeting discussed the upcoming annual plans under the 6th State Finance Commission (SF) 2026–27 and the 16th Finance Commission (FC), focusing on prioritising developmental works across the Territorial Constituencies. A detailed review of the Jal Jeevan Mission at the village level was also conducted, emphasising the need for efficient implementation and timely completion of water supply initiatives.
Addressing the members, Zilla Adhakshya expressed her appreciation for the dedication, coordination and hard work shown by all Zilla Members. She highlighted that teamwork remains the foundation of effective development and urged everyone to continue working collectively to advance their respective Territorial Constituencies.
She reaffirmed that all efforts must align with the vision of Chief Minister Mr Prem Singh Tamang, ensuring inclusive and impactful development across the district.
The meeting had the presence of District Collector Pakyong, Mr Rohan Agawane; District Planning Officer, PDZP, Mr Sonam Zangpo Bhutia; District Engineer, Mr Kailash Khatiwara; Assistant Engineer, Mr Jayant Dulal, along with Zilla Panchayat Members of Pakyong District, Junior Engineers from the Pakyong District Zilla Panchayat Office.
