Pakyong District Achieves 70.69 Per Cent Digitisation of Enumeration Forms Under SIR 2026

Pakyong, June 20 (IPR): Pakyong District has recorded steady progress under the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) 2026 of Electoral Rolls, achieving 70.69 per cent digitisation of Enumeration Forms (EFs) as of today.
According to the District Election Office, Pakyong, out of the 82603 Enumeration Forms distributed across the district's five Assembly Constituencies, 58751 forms have been digitised so far.
The constituency-wise status of digitisation is as follows:
18-West Pendam: 65.91 per cent
19-Rhenock: 72.19 per cent
20-Chujachen: 69.02 per cent
21-Gnathang-Machong: 74.45 per cent
22-Namcheybung: 72.57 per cent
The distribution and collection of Enumeration Forms will continue till June 28, 2026. Electors who have received their forms have been requested to fill them and submit them to their respective Booth Level Officers (BLOs) within the prescribed timeline to facilitate the preparation of an accurate and updated Draft Electoral Roll.
To facilitate greater public participation in the exercise, especially for working individuals, students, travellers and others facing difficulty in submitting forms during regular hours, special weekend camps is being organised at polling stations across the district. Booth Level Officers will remain available at their respective polling stations to assist electors in filling, verifying and submitting Enumeration Forms.
The District Election Office has appealed to all eligible voters to actively participate in the revision exercise and extend full cooperation to the election officials. Timely submission of Enumeration Forms will help ensure that no eligible voter is left out and that the electoral roll remains accurate, complete and transparent.
