Gyalshing, March 30 (IPR): The nomination process for the General Municipal Election 2026 in Gyalshing District concluded today, marking the seventh and final day of filing of nominations.
On the final day, Mr Bishnu Lall Thapa Chettri, Mr Santosh Sharma and Ms Tila Rupa Sharma filed their nomination papers as Independent candidates for 05–New Gyalshing Ward under Gyalshing Nagar Panchayat at the Office of the Municipal Returning Officer, Gyalshing, Mr Tenzing D Denzongpa.
The ward-wise details of candidates who have filed their nomination papers, along with their respective affiliations, are as follows:

With the conclusion of the nomination phase, the scrutiny of nomination papers is scheduled to be undertaken on April 1, while the last date for withdrawal of candidature has been fixed for April 4, 2026.
