Namchi District Records Cumulative Total Of 110348 Enumeration Forms Distribution

Namchi, 16 June (IPR) : Special Intensive Revision (SIR) 2026, under Phase III, for the state of Sikkim, spearheaded by the Election Commission of India (ECI), in attaining a comprehensive and updated electoral roll, is ongoing with the phase at the procedure of distribution and the collection of Enumeration Forms (EFs) by the concerned Block Level Officers (BLOs), in the district of Namchi.
Accordingly, a cumulative total of 110348 (99.73%) Enumeration Forms have been distributed across the district as on 16/06/2026, the seventeenth day of the revision exercise, through door-to-door visits by the BLOs.
Likewise, the cumulative total of constituency-wise distribution of Enumeration Forms till date is as follows:
09 Barfung AC – 16288 EFs distributed with 99.47% coverage.
10 Poklok-Kamrang AC – 16946 EFs distributed with 99.96% coverage.
11 Namchi-Singhithang AC – 13502 EFs distributed with 99.79% coverage.
12 Melli AC – 16103 EFs distributed with 99.40% coverage.
13 Namthang-Rateypani AC – 16571 EFs distributed with 99.86 % coverage.
14 Temi-Namphing AC – 15489 EFs distributed with 99.61% coverage.
15 Rangang-Yangang AC – 15449 EFs distributed with 100.00% coverage.
Cumulative total - 110348 EFs distributed with 99.73% coverage.
It is to be mentioned here that the house visits by the BLOs will continue until June 28, 2026, where, during which period the BLOs shall distribute and collect the Enumeration Forms and alongside assist in verifying and updating the details, such as name, age, address, photographs, and EPIC number, of all eligible electors.
The District Election Office has appealed to all eligible electors to cooperate with BLOs and ensure timely submission of duly filled Enumeration Forms.
For assistance, electors may contact their respective BLOs, visit the offices of the Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) or Assistant Electoral Registration Officer (AERO), use the Voter Helpline App, or call Helpline Number 1950.
Political parties are also actively participating in the exercise through their Booth Level Agents (BLAs), contributing towards greater transparency, accuracy and public participation in the electoral roll revision process.
