Namchi District Achieves Over 80 Per Cent Digitisation of Enumeration Forms Under SIR 2026
Namchi, June 21 (IPR): Namchi District has recorded significant progress under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) 2026 of Electoral Rolls, with the digitisation of Enumeration Forms (EFs) crossing the 80 per cent mark.
As per the latest update received from the District Election Office, Namchi, a total of 92338 Enumeration Forms have been digitised out of the 110373 forms distributed across the district, translating to an overall digitisation rate of 83.45 per cent.
The district's seven Assembly Constituencies have demonstrated steady progress in the digitisation process.
Constituency-wise achievements are as follows:
• 09 Barfung: 81.93 per cent
• 10 Poklok Kamrang: 83.41percent
• 11 Namchi Singithang: 80.27 per cent
• 12 Melli: 79.16 per cent
• 13 Namthang Rateypani: 79.88 per cent
• 14 Temi Namphing: 89.18 per cent
• 15 Rangyang Yangyang: 90.46 percent
The ongoing distribution and collection of Enumeration Forms will continue until June 28, 2026. Electors who have received their forms are encouraged to complete and submit them to their respective Booth Level Officers (BLOs) within the stipulated timeframe. Timely submission will facilitate the preparation of a comprehensive, accurate and up-to-date Draft Electoral Roll.
The District Election Office has appealed to all eligible voters to actively participate in the exercise and extend their cooperation to election officials to ensure the successful completion of the revision process. The prompt submission of Enumeration Forms will contribute significantly towards maintaining a robust, inclusive and error-free electoral roll.
For any assistance relating to the Special Intensive Revision, electors may contact their respective Booth Level Officers (BLOs), Electoral Registration Officers (EROs) or Assistant Electoral Registration Officers (AEROs).
