Namchi Celebrates Guru Rinpoche Thungkar Tshechu
Namchi, July 15, 2024(IPR): Namchi witnessed a grand celebration of Guru Rinpoche Thungkar Tshechu, today.
The event began with a car procession from Serdup Choling Monastery via Namchi bazaar to Samdruptse.
Monks from Serdup Choling Monastery, Ngadak Thupten Shedup Dhargey Choeling Monastery, Namdroling Monastery and Samdruptse led the prayers and rituals, which were attended by a large gathering of devotees.
To mark the birthday of Guru Rinpoche, the devotees cut the cake. Further, they offered prayers and performed rituals, seeking peace, prosperity, and happiness for all sentient beings.
