Minister Puran Kumar Gurung Engages with Progressive Farmers.
Pakyong, 01 September (IPR): Mr Puran Kumar Gurung, Minister for Agriculture & Horticulture, set out on a visit to Damlakha, Mamzey, Yakteen, and the surrounding regions under Rhenock Constituency today.
Also present during the visit were Ward Panchayats, Mr Urgen Lepcha, CA to HCM, Mr Bum Tshering Yonzon, Social Worker, as well as officials from the concerned department and the local community.
The primary objective of this visit was to engage with progressive farmers and various stakeholders in the agricultural sector, along with addressing the needs and worries of the farming community.
Throughout the visit, Mr Gurung personally interacted with the farmers, commending their relentless efforts in enhancing agricultural production within the region.
Moreover, Mr Gurung sought to offer his support and assistance to these hard-working individuals on behalf of the department.
He reassured them that the necessary support and resources would be made available to them in order to foster a conducive environment for agricultural growth and development.
