Memorial Honoring Fallen Soldiers to be Inaugurated by Defence Minister

Chief Minister Mr Prem Singh Tamang made a visit at the Prerna Sthal memorial site, established to commemorate the brave soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice during the devastating 2023 flood.
This memorial, created under the guidance of Governor of Sikkim, Mr Om Prakash Mathur, stands as a tribute to the resilience and heroism of our valiant jawans.
Likewise, the memorial is set to be inaugurated next week by the Defence Minister of India, Mr Rajnath Singh.
It serves not only as a remembrance of those we lost but as an enduring symbol of the selfless service and dedication our soldiers exemplify, inspiring future generations.
During the visit, the Chief Minister was joined by Ministers, legislators, and senior officers of the Indian Army and the State Government.
In order to make sure that the memorial upholds the greatest standards of honour and respect for the departed, the Chief Minister along with his entourage jointly carried out a thorough inspection of the arrangements.
Additionally, he appreciated the Indian Army's unwavering dedication in making this initiative a reality. The Chief Minister added that "their commitment to this admirable cause exemplifies the highest standards of service to the nation."
