Gyalshing, 7th April, 2020 (IPR): Minister-cum-Area MLA (Gyalshing-Bermiok), Shri. L. N. Sharma visited the District Hospital Gyalshing (DGH) to take stock of the situation of the Hospital Infrastructures and facilities available. He was accompanied by Shri. Indra Hang Subba, MP, Lok Sabha and Shri. Bhim Hang Subba, Minister, PHE. Also present during the visit were Shri. Karma L. Lepcha, ADC, West and Shri. T. T. Bhutia, SDM (Gyalshing).
During the visit, the Hon'ble MP and Ministers took stock of the situation of the hospital, its manpower and facilities available. The CMO West Dr. Anusha Lama explained in depth the situation of the District Hospital and the requirements of the hospital which the MP and Ministers have agreed to solve as soon as possible.
Shri. L. N. Sharma also met with the patients and their kin enquiring about their health conditions and wished them speedy recovery on behalf of the Government. He also interacted with the medical staffs and urged them to take care of themselves and be cautious in dealing with patients during these critical times.
Later, Shri. Indra Hang Subba and Shri. L. N. Sharma visited the Ayush Quarantine Ward, Isolation Center and Qurantine Facility at Kyongsa. He also met with the Fire Officials and distributed face masks and hand sanitizers
