MLA Soreng-Chakung Mr Aditya Golay inaugurates SGAY Houses under Soreng-Chakung Constituency
Soreng, December 6 (IPR):
Today, Mr Aditya Golay (MLA Soreng-Chakung) inaugurated the SGAY Houses in Soreng Chakung constituency in the presence of Mr Deepak Gurung (Zilla Panchayat Chakung Territorial), Mrs Karuna Darnal (Panchayat President Chakung GPU), Panchayat Members, Mr RK Gurung (BDO Chumbung), Mr Govind Dhittal (AE Chumbung BAC) and Ms Trisha Subba (JE, MTL).
The SGAY (Sikkim Garib Awas Yojana) is a flagship housing scheme aimed at providing safe and sustainable housing to economically weaker sections of society. By focusing on inclusivity and addressing housing challenges, this project signifies a broader commitment to ensuring social welfare and equitable growth in Sikkim.
The event marks another milestone in the state government’s efforts to uplift rural areas and create sustainable infrastructure that benefits marginalized communities. It highlights the ongoing collaboration between various stakeholders and the leadership’s vision to drive comprehensive development in the state.
Under the guidance of Chief Minister of Sikkim Mr Prem Singh Tamang, this project reflects the government’s dedication to improving the living standards of its citizens.
