MLA Launches Free Water-Dispenser Tanker for Salghari–Zoom Constituency
Namchi, 19 January (IPR): MLA Salghari–Zoom Constituency and Advisor to the Transport and Skill Development Department Mr Madan Cintury formally launched a free water-dispenser tanker for the benefit of residents of 08 Salghari–Zoom Constituency, today.
Addressing the media on the occasion, the MLA informed that the tanker was procured through an auction conducted by the Transport Department and has now been repurposed to serve public needs. He further stated that the vehicle will be managed by a dedicated committee, which will oversee its maintenance, payment of wages and the proper dispatch of services.
Highlighting future plans, he also mentioned that a water filtration system would be installed in the tanker to ensure the supply of safe and clean drinking water to the public.
The programme was attended by Vice President (NJNP) Ms Manjari Rai; Panchayat members (NJNP) Mr Samten Moktan, Ms Uma Portel and Mr Sunil Kumar Gupta, OSDs Mr Raju Roshan Pradhan and Mr Khagendra Rai, SDM (Jorethang) Mr Yogen Syangden, ASP Ms Jyoti Chettri, SDPO Mr Kesang D Bhutia, Senior RTO Mr Ben Kumar Chettri, along with other dignitaries.
