MDTTA organises a see-off programme for two players representing Sikkim at the national level
Mangan, March 9: The Mangan District Table Tennis Association (MDTTA) organized a see-off programme for two players who will represent Sikkim in the upcoming Senior National Table Tennis Championships 2026 scheduled to be held at Indore, Madhya Pradesh, from 14th March to 21st March 2026.
The programme was held to encourage the players and wish them success as they prepare to compete at the national level. During the programme, the President of MDTTA conveyed his best wishes to the players and handed over cash incentives as a token of encouragement.
The event was attended by several table tennis enthusiasts of the district along with Mr Karma Tenzing, Member MDTTA; Mr Ujjal Sharma, Treasurer of the Sikkim Table Tennis Association; and Mr Suraj Pradhan, Joint Secretary, MDTTA. On the occasion, Mr. Sharma also handed over cash incentives on his behalf to support and motivate the players.
The two players from the district, Mr Kamal Subba and Mr Passang Tshering Tamang, will join two other players to represent the state of Sikkim at the championship.
The Sikkim team will be accompanied by Mr Bishal Tamang, who will serve as the Team Manager for the event.
MDTTA expressed confidence that the players will perform well and bring pride to the state at the national championship.
