Launching of e-Service "Sikkim Go (Single Sign-On-SSO) at BAC, Passingdang
Passingdang-11/02/2026: The e-Service “Sikkim Go (Single Sign-On-SSO)” was officially launched at the Block Administrative Centre, Passingdang, Dzongu, marking a significant milestone towards strengthening digital governance and enhancing public service delivery in the region.
The Sikkim Go (SSO) platform is designed to provide citizens with seamless access to multiple government services through a single digital login. This initiative forms part of the Government of Sikkim’s ongoing efforts to promote transparency, efficiency, and ease of access to public services through digital transformation.
The launch program was attended by the Block Development Officer, Dr. Mahendra Tamang and staff of the Block Administrative Centre, Passingdang. The event included a virtual demonstration of the portal and its operational procedures conducted by Mr. Muksam Limboo, Assistant Director, IT, Mangan. He elaborated on the registration process and the various services available on the platform to familiarise officials and designated staff with its features and functionality.
During the session, Mr. Limboo emphasized the importance of digital inclusion and encouraged citizens to actively utilize the Sikkim Go (SSO) platform to avail themselves of government services online.
With the launching of this e-service in Dzongu Block, citizens of Dzongu can now apply for vital government documents issued at the block level directly from their homes without the need to visit government offices. This initiative is expected to significantly reduce travel time and expenses, particularly benefiting residents in remote and rural areas.
For residents in remote areas such as Dzongu, the Sikkim Go (SSO) system is expected to save time, reduce unnecessary financial burdens, and improve overall service delivery mechanisms.
With the introduction of Sikkim Go (SSO), Dzongu takes a progressive step towards a digitally empowered and citizen-centric governance model.
