Khet Bachao Abhiyan and PM-KISAN Saturation Drive Conducted at Lingchom Tingda GPU
Mangan, June 5: The Khet Bachao Abhiyan was successfully conducted at Lingchom Tingda GPU today.
The programme was led by Deputy Director, Shri Padam Bdr Gurung, along with the Agriculture Development Officer (ADO), and officials from the Agriculture Department.
The programme was attended by the Panchayat President, Vice President, Panchayat members, Assistant Director and farmers from the GPU.
During the programme, farmers were sensitised on the importance of maintaining soil health and protecting agricultural land for improved productivity and long-term sustainability.
A PM-KISAN Saturation Drive was also conducted as part of the programme to ensure that all eligible farmers are enrolled under the scheme and are able to avail themselves of its benefits.
The Khet Bachao Abhiyan will continue its outreach activities across other GPUs in the coming days, ensuring that more farming communities benefit from the awareness campaign and the support services offered by the Department.
