Date: 25-May-2026
Mangan, May 25: The nationwide “Jan Bhagidari Week – Sabse Door, Sabse Pehle” campaign was observed across the country from May 18 to May 25, 2026, with the objective of ensuring last-mile delivery of government welfare schemes and services to tribal and remote populations. The campaign focused on strengthening public participation, spreading awareness regarding welfare initiatives, and ensuring the saturation of benefits in underserved tribal villages.
Under the guidance of the District Collector, Mangan, the Social Welfare Department, Mangan, actively observed the week by organising IEC campaigns and Saturation Benefit Camps across 30 tribal villages of the district.
During the saturation camps, Aadhaar card services, Scheduled Tribe (ST) certificate facilitation, and other government welfare benefits were provided at the village level through Adi Seva Kendras to ensure easy accessibility for the tribal population.
Health camps were also organised, wherein physical health screening and oral health screening were conducted for the tribal communities. The initiative aimed at creating awareness regarding preventive healthcare and ensuring early detection of health-related issues.
As part of the week-long campaign, plantation drives, cleanliness drives, and Jan Sunwai programmes were also conducted in various villages, BDO offices and EMRS School. The local residents actively participated in the activities, reflecting strong community involvement and public participation in the spirit of “Sabse Door, Sabse Pehle.”
