Gangtok, 23 Sept (IPR): Hon’ble Governor Shri Ganga Prasad today flagged off the relief material for Yuksam landslide victims.

Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Prem Singh Tamang (Golay), Hon’ble Minister of Education, Land Revenue & Disaster Management, Youth and Sports Affairs Departments, Shri Kunga Nima Lepcha, Additional Chief Secretary to Governor, Dr. K. Jayakumar, and State Relief Commissioner, Smt. Ambika Pradhan, were present on the occasion.

The Governor also handed over a cheque of Rs. 2 Lakhs to the Chief Minister Relief Fund for the relief of landslide victims.

The relief material dispatched today in a special vehicle carries eatables, 100 blankets, 175 metres synthetic profile mat, ready to eat food packets, noodles, portable water bottles, juice and biscuits among others.
