Namchi 27th January: The Hon'ble Minister for Buildings and Housing Department cum Area MLA Namthang Rateypani constituency Shri Sanjeet Kharel visited Tek Gompa under Namthang Rateypani today. Thereafter, he attended the Final Football Tournament at Tek Playground wherein he was felicitated by the Tek Youth Club Namthang Committee.

During the programme, the Minister also distributed seven pairs of Ox (bull) and ploughing tools to seven beneficiaries of Namthang Rateypani constituency. The programme was organised by the Social Justice Department South under Special Central Assistant (SCA)Tribal Sub Plan Scheme.
The name of the beneficiaries was Shri Sangay Dorjee Tamang, Shri Bhakta Bahadur Tamang, Shri Bee Tshering Lepcha, Shri Mar Tshering Lepcha, Shri Phur Tshering Lepcha, Shri Udai Kumar Tamang and Shri Dharma Singh Tamang.
The programme was attended by BDO Namthang Shri Ram Kumar Tamang, Senior Welfare Officer Smt Meena Rai, CDPO South Shri Laxman Tamang, Welfare Officers, Panchayats and locals.
