Hon'ble Chief Justice High Court of Sikkim visit's South Sikkim
Namchi, 20th March (IPR): Hon'ble Chief Justice High Court of Sikkim Mr Justice Jitendra Kumar Maheswari visited District and Sessions Court at Namchi and Court of Civil Judge-cum-Judicial Magistrate at Jorethang, today. He was accompanied by Registrar General Mr K.W.Bhutia, ADC (South) Mr Satyan Kr. Pradhan, SP (South) Mr Thakur Thapa and other officials.
Upon his arrival at the Court of Civil Judge-cum-Judicial Magistrate at Jorethang sub-division, he was given warm welcome by
District and Sessions Judge (South) Mr Jiwan Kharka, Chief Judicial Magistrate (South) Ms Ranjita Pradhan, Senior Civil Judge cum Judicial Magistrate (South) Ms Jwala D. Thapa, Civil Judge cum Judicial Magistrate Ms Rohini Rai
and other officials. A guard of honour was also presented at Jorethang Court.
Thereafter, the Hon'ble Chief Justice visited District and Sessions Court at Namchi wherein he stopped by the various sections of the Court and interacted with the officials and Staff. He also inspected the Alternate Dispute Redressal Centre at the court premises.
It may be noted that the Hon'ble Chief Justice High Court of Sikkim Mr Justice Jitendra Kumar Maheswari is on a two-day long tour of the South District. He will also be visiting the Court of Civil Judge cum Judicial Magistrate, Yangang Subdivision on 21st March.
