High Court of Sikkim Inaugurates Creche Facility at its premises
Gangtok, April 06 (IPR): The High Court of Sikkim organised the inauguration ceremony of a Creche Facility at the Phase IV Building of the High Court premises today.
The facility was formally inaugurated by Hon’ble Judge, High Court of Sikkim, Mrs Justice Meenakshi Madan Rai, in the presence of Hon’ble Chief Justice, High Court of Sikkim, Mr Justice A Muhamed Mustaque, and Hon’ble Judge, High Court of Sikkim, Mr Justice Bhaskar Raj Pradhan.
The inauguration of the Creche Facility marks a significant step towards promoting a supportive and inclusive work environment within the High Court. The initiative aims to provide childcare support for employees, ensuring better work-life balance and welfare.
The ceremony was also attended by Registrar General, High Court of Sikkim, Mr KW Bhutia, Registrar, High Court of Sikkim, Ms Jyoti Kharka, Registrar (Judicial Service), High Court of Sikkim, Mr Jiwan Kumar Kharka, Central Project Coordinator, High Court of Sikkim, Mrs Sonam D Wangdi, Principal District and Sessions Judge, Gangtok, Mr NG Sherpa, District and Sessions Judge, Special Division-II at Gangtok, Mr Jagat B Rai, Member Secretary, Sikkim State Legal Services Authority, Mrs Samita Sharma, Director, Sikkim Judicial Academy, Mrs Subarna Rai, District and Sessions Judge, Special Division-I, Ms Jwala D Thapa, Deputy Director, Sikkim Judicial Academy, Ms Zamyang Bhutia, Chief Judicial Magistrate-cum-Civil Judge, Gangtok, Mr Zamyang D Sherpa, Civil Judge-cum-Judicial Magistrate, Gangtok, Ms Nairitya Sharma, Legal Remembrancer-cum-Secretary, Law and Parliamentary Affairs Department, Government of Sikkim, Mr Suraj Chettri, Deputy Solicitor General of India, Ms Sangita Pradhan, office bearers of the Bar Association of Sikkim (High Court and Subordinate Courts) as well as the Sikkim High Court Bar Association, along with the members of the said bar associations, senior advocates Mr Tashi Rapten Barfungpa and N Rai, and staff and officers of the High Court of Sikkim.
