Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign Conducted Across Pakyong District
Pakyong, August 16 (IPR): The district-wide Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign was conducted at different locations across Pakyong District today.
At Rhenock Bazar, the Har Ghar Tiranga programme was led by Advisor to the Chief Minister, Mr Bishnu Kumar Sharma, in the presence of Zilla Upadhyakshya Mrs Prabha Pradhan, OSD, BDO, social workers, local stakeholders and members of the community.
Similarly, at Pakyong Bazar, a Tiranga Yatra was conducted under the guidance of President of Pakyong Nagar Panchayat, with the participation of Councillors, MEO Pakyong, DD LRDM, Heads of Offices, members of the business community and residents. The yatra was followed by a cleanliness drive around the Community Hall, Pakyong.
The Har Ghar Tiranga campaign was also held at Rongli Bazar today, with participation from local stakeholders and community members. At Rhenock, a total of 105 participants, including Heads of Departments, school heads, members of the business community and representatives of NGOs, took part in the campaign.
The campaign was conducted as part of the Independence Day activities to encourage citizens to display the National Flag at their homes and participate in programmes marking Independence Day.
