Soreng, June 28 (IPR): The Chief Minister of Sikkim, Mr Prem Singh Tamang along with the Speaker (SLA), Deputy Speaker (SLA), Cabinet Ministers, MLAs, former Ministers, MLAs, DC designate (Soreng) Mr Dhiraj Subedi, SP Mr Nahkul Pradhan, ADC Mr DR Bista along with HODs, district officers and other dignitaries attended the funeral service of the first elected member of the Parliament (Lok Sabha) from Sikkim, Mr Pahalman Subba at his native place at Timberbong, Soreng today.
The Chief Minister paid his due respect to the departed soul and expressed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
The former MP (LS) had a ceremonious burial with the Guard of Honour from the 2nd IRBn Battalion at the cremation site at Timberbong.
