Gyalshing Observes World No Tobacco Day
Gyalshing, May 31 (IPR): In alignment with global efforts, Gyalshing District observed World No Tobacco Day at the District Administrative Centre (DAC), Rabdentse today. This significant event aimed to raise awareness about the harmful effects of tobacco and promote a tobacco-free environment.
Mr Khemraj Bhattarai ADC(HQ)administered the pledge of No Tobacco Day, emphasizing the state’s commitment to combating tobacco use and its associated health risks. The event was also attended by Ms Tirsang Tamang SDM(HQ), and Mr. Kessang D. Bhutia SDPO Gyalshing with the active participation of officials and staff members working under DAC.
The gathering highlighted the collective resolve to pursue a healthier, tobacco-free life.
