Greetings of Hon’ble Chief Minister on the occasion of Pang Lhabsol

The Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Prem Singh Tamang has extended his heartiest greetings and good wishes to the people of Sikkim on the auspicious occasion of Pang Lhabsol.
Pang Lhabsol is a unique festival of Sikkim celebrated annually to commemorate the consecration of Mount Khangchendzonga as the guardian deity of Sikkim.
In his message, the Hon’ble Chief Minister stated that Pang Lhabsol is an important festival symbolizing unity and brotherhood amongst the Sikkimese people with the mighty Mt Khangchendzonga as the guardian deity.
Historically, the day commemorates the treaty of brotherhood between the Lepcha and the Bhutia communities at Kabi Lungchok.
"I pray to our guardian deity to continue to bestow peace and communal harmony in Sikkim and usher us towards the path of progress & prosperity and bless our people with happiness, abundance, and well-being", stated the Hon'ble Chief Minister
