Gangtok District Nears Completion of Enumeration Form Distribution under SIR 2026
Gangtok, June 17 (IPR): Booth Level Officers (BLOs) in Gangtok district have achieved a remarkable distribution rate of 99.62 per cent in the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) 2026 exercise on the nineteenth day of the Enumeration Form distribution drive.
With this achievement, BLOs have distributed 1,21,775 Enumeration Forms (EFs) out of a total of 1,22,240 eligible electors in the district.
The near completion of the Enumeration Form distribution exercise reflects the dedication and concerted efforts of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Sikkim, District Election Officer (DEO) Gangtok,Electoral Registration Officers (EROs), Assistant Electoral Registration Officers (AEROs),Booth Level Officers (BLOs), officials from Election Department -Sikkim and Booth Level Agents (BLAs) in ensuring that no eligible elector is left behind in Gangtok district.
The constituency-wise distribution of Enumeration Forms (EFs) is as follows:
- 16-Tumen-Lingi: 16,682
- 17-Khamdong-Singtam: 14,491
- 23-Shyari: 16,291
- 24-Martam-Rumtek: 17,718
- 25-Upper Tadong: 12,307
- 26-Arithang: 12,191
- 27-Gangtok: 11,959
- 28-Upper Burtuk: 15,978
- 32-Sangha: 4,158
It may be noted that the collection of filled-up Enumeration Forms (EFs) from electors will continue until June 28, 2026.
Electors who have received their Enumeration Forms are requested to duly fill up the forms and submit them to their respective BLOs within the stipulated period to facilitate the inclusion of their names in the draft Electoral Roll.
Further, individuals under Gangtok district who have not yet received their Enumeration Forms (EFs) or have not submitted their duly filled-up forms are urged to contact their respective Booth Level Officers (BLOs). The contact details of the BLOs have been made available for the convenience of electors.
Electors may also reach out to their respective Assistant Electoral Registration Officers (AEROs) and Electoral Registration Officers (EROs) for any assistance, clarification, or queries pertaining to the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) 2026 exercise.
