Fourth Coordination Meeting for Discover Rabong ‘Cho-Dzo Fest 2025’ Held at Cho-Dzo Lake Rabong.
Rabong, April 4, 2025: A fourth follow-up coordination meeting for the upcoming Discover Rabong ‘Cho-Dzo Fest 2025’ was convened today at the scenic Cho-Dzo Lake in Rabong. The meeting was presided over by Hon’ble Area MLA Shri Riksal Dorjee Bhutia and attended by Smt. Teny Doma Bhutia, Chairperson of the State Women’s Commission, Press Secretary to HCM Shri Yougan Tamang, OSD to HCM Shri Karma Subba, SKM Youth President Shri Lakpa Moktan, SDM Ravangla, SHO Ravangla PS, Zilla Panchayats, SKM functionaries, and officials from various government departments.
The primary focus of the meeting was to review the progress and developments related to the much-awaited festival, scheduled to officially begin from April 11-16. Key discussions included updates on the various programs and activities lined up for the festival, highlighting the collaborative efforts of local authorities and organizers.
The meeting also took stock of the preparations for the curtain-raiser and trophy unveiling ceremony of the first-ever Chief Minister’s Gold Cup Open Volleyball Tournament, which is scheduled to be held at MG Marg, Gangtok, on April 6. The event will be graced by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Sikkim, Shri Prem Singh Tamang Golay, marking an important milestone for the state’s sporting events.
The organising members and officials provided insights into the logistical arrangements, ensuring that all aspects of the festival, from cultural programs to sporting activities, are on track. The event is poised to celebrate the region's rich cultural heritage, while also fostering community spirit and promoting local talent.
