First SGAY House Inaugurated in Swayem Ward under Mangan Block
Mangan, March 27 (IPR): In a welcome initiative, the first house in Mangan District under Sikkim Garib Awas Yojana was formally inaugurated today at Swayem Ward under Namok Swayem GPU, Mangan Block.
The SAGY house, the first in the district to be handed over in this phase, allotted to beneficiary Mr Lopzang Lepcha, was inaugurated by Minister for Forest & Environment cum MLA Dzongu Mr Pintso Namgyal Lepcha.
The programme had the esteemed presence of Adhyaksha Mangan District, Mr Kado Lepcha, APS Mangan, Mr Phurba Bhutia, Zilla and Gram Panchayat Members of Namok Swayem GPU, ADC (Development) Mangan Dr. Sonam Rinchen Lepcha, OSD Mr Roshan Subba, BDO Mangan, Mr Kailash Thapa, AD Mangan Block, JE SGAY and the public of Swayem ward.
The inauguration of the SGAY house heralds the beginning of this phase of public welfare initiatives of the State Government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr Prem Singh Tamang and under the supervision of the Area MLA.
