Pakyong, December 02 (IPR): Minister for Education Department, Sports & Youth Affairs Department, Law Department and Parliamentary Affairs Department cum MLA Namcheybong, Mr Raju Basnet, distributed land parchas to eleven beneficiaries under Sikkim Sukumbasi (Landless) Welfare Scheme under the Land Bank Scheme at the conference hall of District Administrative Centre (DAC), Pakyong, today.
The distribution was held in the presence of District Collector, Pakyong, Mr Rohan Agawane; Sub-Divisional Magistrate (Headquarter), Mr Thendup Lepcha; SDM Pakyong, Mr Dakman Subba and RO/AD, Mr Kiran Chettri.
A total of eleven beneficiaries under Namcheybong constituency received land parchas during the event.
The initiative aims to extend land ownership documents to landless beneficiaries identified under the Sikkim Sukumbasi (Landless) Welfare Scheme.
