EXPENDITURE OBSERVER FOR SORENG DISTRICT VISITS NAKA POINTS
Soreng, March 21(IPR): Mr Srikanth N, the Expenditure Observer for Soreng district for the General Elections, 2024 along with Mr Sameer Pradhan SDPO Soreng and Mr Rakesh Sharma Nodal Officer for Election Expenditure Monitoring Committee cum CP&AO visited and reviewed the election preparedness of two Naka points at Rumbuk Phatak under 06- Daramdin and at Zoom Phatak under 08- Salghari Zoom for Soreng District, today.
The EO gave several instructions to the stationed SST team of each Naka Points such as precise checking of vehicles, random frisking of individuals and so on. He advised the team leaders to ensure proper collection of physical evidence through photographs and videos as a support document against claims of any malpractice.
He was informed by the Nodal Officer that as per the ECI guidelines, three naka points have been set up per Assembly Constituencies bringing the total to twelve Naka Points for the district where 24X7 surveillance by the SSTs is being carried out.
