Dzongu holds FAMEX - a community awareness programme on disaster management
Dzongu, Oct 17: FAMEX- A familiarization Exercise/Community Awareness Programme was organized by the NDRF in coordination with the District Disaster Management Authority, Mangan District, at Lingdong-Barfok GPU under Dzongu Sub Division on 17th October, 2025.
The programme was attended by the Sub Division Magistrate, Dzongu along with the Panchayat President, Zilla Panchayat, Members of the Lingdong-Barfok GPU, Disaster Management Supervisors/Assistants, employees of GPK, students and general public of the locality.
The NDRF team led by Sub Inspector Mr. Nisit Dubey demonstrated various disaster scenario especially during earthquake, landslide, fire, snake bite and flash flood and shared knowledge/awareness on Do’s and Don’t with hands-on training on Search and Rescue and First Aid.
The awareness programme was well participated by all the audience and concluded with vote of thanks to all the trainees and experts.
