District Collector Chairs Review Meeting on Sampoornta Abhiyan and ABP KPIs in Namchi
Namchi, March 25 (IPR): A review meeting on Sampoornta Reports and ongoing Aspirational Blocks Programme (ABP) Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) was chaired by the District Collector at the District Administrative Centre Namchi, today.
The review focuses on assessing the progress of Sampoornta Reports and deliberating on key performance indicators under the Aspirational Blocks Programme.
The Sampoornta Abhiyan is a focused campaign aimed at achieving saturation of essential government services and welfare schemes across key sectors such as health, nutrition, education, basic infrastructure and agriculture, while the KPIs under the Aspirational Blocks Programme (ABP) serve as measurable indicators to track progress in these priority areas, ensuring improved service delivery, outcome-based monitoring, and targeted interventions in Aspirational Blocks.
The District Collector, in her address, underscored the importance of strong convergence among departments, timely and accurate data reporting, and greater accountability at the field level. She encouraged all officials to work in close coordination, remain proactive in addressing gaps, and ensure that the benefits of government schemes reach every eligible beneficiary in a timely and effective manner. She further urged departments to adopt a result-oriented approach, with sustained efforts towards achieving saturation and improving overall service delivery.
Officials from various departments discussed key issues requiring attention for effective implementation of the programme, with emphasis on coordination and timely monitoring.
All departmental heads presented brief updates. The Health Department reported improvements in institutional deliveries and immunization coverage, while the Education Department highlighted better attendance and efforts toward foundational learning and AH&VS updated on livestock vaccination and support to farmers.
ICDS updated on ongoing nutrition and child health interventions, while Agriculture and Horticulture reported on crop diversification, productivity enhancement, and farmer support initiatives. Animal Husbandry highlighted efforts in livestock healthcare, vaccination drives, and support to farmers, while SRLM shared progress in strengthening SHGs and promoting sustainable livelihood activities.
Ms. Methela Rai presented a detailed overview of the status of the Sampoornta Abhiyan, highlighting indicator-wise progress and recent updates across key sectors.
