District Administration Soreng conducts joint inspection under Daramdin Constituency
Soreng, October 2 (IPR): In continuation to the previous inspection, Mr Dhiraj Subedi District Collector (Soreng) led a joint inspection of major landslide-affected areas under Daramdin Constituency, today.
The DC was accompanied by Panchayat members, Mr PK Subba SDM (HQ), Mr Sunny Kharel SDM (Soreng), Ms Rajani Pega DPO (DDMA), Mr Bishnu Sharma Senior AO, Officers and other departmental representatives.
The inspection covered the farthest villages under Ribdi-Bhareng within the district which has been affected terribly due to the landslides caused by the continuous rainfall.During the visit, the team was assisted by the concerned Panchayat members.
The DC interacted with the affected victims, assuring them for timely and necessary interventions as mandated by the Disaster Management Act where the affected houses were provided with ex-gratia and essential relief materials.
